WOW FOREVER · ADDON COMPARISON
RestedXP vs Questie.
Which do you need?
Questie shows you where quests are. RestedXP gives you a route to follow. The choice comes down to how much of your leveling you want planned for you.
| Your decision | Questie | RestedXP |
|---|---|---|
| What it helps you decide | Where to find quests and their objectives. | Which quest step to do next along a guide’s route. |
| Questing approach | Pick your own quests using map markers and the quest tracker. | Follow an ordered guide with instructions and an objective arrow. |
| New Forever content | The project lists incomplete coverage for new quests, NPCs, objects and spawns. | RestedXP reports completed 1–35 routes with new Forever quests; Forever-specific 35–60 routes are planned after launch. |
| Cost | Free quest helper. | Free addon; Forever guide packages cost $30.00 for one faction or $45.00 for both, before discounts. |

WHAT CHANGES IN FOREVER
New quests. Different routes.
A route written for Classic Era does not automatically account for Forever’s new quests, starting zones and travel connections. These are the changes worth checking before choosing your leveling setup.
What this means for Questie.
Questie’s Forever work list identifies incomplete data for new quests, NPCs, objects and spawns. An addon loading in Forever does not establish that it has markers for every new quest. The work list does not tell us which individual quests are missing from your installed version.
For Skyborne or a new class combination, RestedXP’s documented starting routes and class steps are concrete reasons to consider its Forever package. If quest locations are all you need, check whether Questie covers the content you plan to play.
YOUR WAY TO 60
When is Questie enough?
You know your route and want quest locations.
Choose Questie if you like deciding which zone to visit and which quests to pick up. For a player who mainly wants help finding a quest mob or turn-in, buying a route may solve a problem they do not have.
You want the next step already planned.
Consider RestedXP if you would rather follow instructions than work out quest order on your main or next alt. For example, knowing where three quests are does not decide which order you should do them in. An ordered guide makes that decision for you.
FREE ADDON · PAID ROUTES
What are you paying RestedXP for?
The purchase is Forever guide content for your faction. The addon itself is free. Paying for a guide makes sense when you want its planned steps, rather than only quest locations.
Alliance and Horde each cost $30.00; Both Factions costs $45.00. Through our links, the guide prices are $27.00 and $40.50 respectively, before any applicable tax.
Choose the Forever product for the faction you play. An existing purchase for another WoW version is not automatically the same package.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you choose.
Does Questie have a navigation arrow?
Questie’s documentation describes objective navigation through the separate TomTom addon. RestedXP includes its own objective arrow. An arrow to a location and an ordered leveling route serve different purposes.
Do I need a paid guide to level in WoW Forever?
No. A paid guide is an optional purchase for players who want route instructions. If you enjoy planning your own questing, Questie may provide all the help you want.
